You do not need a free weekend to learn something new. You need a routine that survives a busy week. Here is a plan for thirty days that works with roughly three hours a week.
Week 1: Foundations
Pick one course and one project. Watch the first two lessons and write your project goal on a sticky note you can see from your desk. Keep every session to 25 minutes.
Week 2: Practice
Stop watching new lessons for two days. Instead, apply what you have learned to your project. Struggling is the point: it is how the lessons stick.
Week 3: Feedback
Share a rough version of your project. Ask two specific questions: What is unclear? and What would you change first? Fix only the top two points.
Week 4: Finish and reflect
Complete the final lessons, polish the project and write a short summary: what worked, what you would do differently, what you will learn next.
Tips to keep going
- Study at the same time and place every day.
- Keep your phone in another room during sessions.
- If you miss a day, do not double up. Just return to the plan.
- Celebrate on day 30 with something small.
Thirty days is long enough to build a skill and short enough to stay motivated. Start tomorrow.
